Local people invited to help shape health plans

16 May 2013

Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) would like to invite you to join other members of the public at a special event in Flitwick on Tuesday 4 June 2013 to find out about and take part in discussions on our plans for local health services over the next few years.

Last year with the contribution of patients, public and healthcare providers, BCCG developed plans for 2013/14 which were published in our Commissioning Intentions and Bedfordshire Plan for Patients

We are now looking to build upon that foundation and evolve our planning for 2014 and beyond. Aims for this year include strengthening partnerships with public, patients, professionals, local authorities and partner organisations as effectively as possible to commence planning for 2014/15 and beyond.

This event is designed to obtain public input and feedback in relation to the emerging healthcare plans for 2014/15 document, and in particular look at the three specific areas of care: Care right now, Care for my condition into the future and Care when it’s not that simple. You will be asked to give consideration to priorities, clinical services and investment/disinvestment opportunities. Input and feedback given at this event will contribute to how our plans for local people develop.

The event will run from 9.30am to 2pm in the Lockyer Suite at the Rufus Centre in Flitwick on Tuesday 4 June. Lunch will be provided. If you would like to take part or find out more, please contact Sarah.frisby call 07920 232600.
