Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) remains committed to the roll out of the national 111 service.
BCCG said it would continue to work with Luton CCG to choose a provider who can deliver a service that is clinically safe and patient focused.”
“In Bedfordshire, we will only put 111 in place when we are assured it is safe and effective for local people who need access to urgent care services. Meanwhile, people in Bedfordshire continue to have access to NHS Direct (0845 46 47). "
