Advisors from Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) will be on hand to answer questions about local health services at Sandy Library on Thursday 8 May.
BCCG’s Patient Advice Liaison Service will be available to help resolve complaints, concerns and queries about health services in the Bedfordshire. They will also offer advice about local and national support agencies available to the public and be able to explain the formal NHS complaints process and how it can be accessed.
Peter Howard, head of PALS at BCCG, said: “Patients, relatives and carers sometimes need on-the-spot advice and support and PALS is here to help. We aim to resolve concerns quickly and efficiently, provide information on NHS services and enable patients and the public to get involved in shaping local NHS services.”
BCCG will be at Sandy Library, Market Square, Bedfordshire SG19 1EH from 11am to 5.30pm, on Thursday 8 May 2014.
