NHS Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding its fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 21 September 2017.
Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for planning, organising and buying NHS-funded healthcare for all those who live in Bedfordshire. This includes hospital, community health and mental health services.
During the AGM, the Annual Report will be presented which highlights a year of successes and challenges faced, there will also be a review of the financial accounts for 2016/17. The AGM will close with a question and answer session with the Bedfordshire CCG Board.
Bedfordshire residents are invited to attend the meeting to hear about the progress made in the region and ask questions of the Board.
Speakers at the AGM will include Bedfordshire CCG GP Chair, Dr Alvin Low.
Dr Low said: “Our Annual General Meeting presents us with the opportunity to outline our work and share the key achievements of the year as a CCG with our member practices as well as members of the public, and give a clear view of how we plan to improve health services in Bedfordshire.”
The AGM will be held at the Lockyer Suite, Rufus Centre, Flitwick, MK45 1AH, on Thursday 21 September 2017. Registration will be from 5.30pm. The AGM will be held from 6:15pm - 7:15pm.
