Health and Wellbeing Strategy - Bedford Borough

Bedford Borough Council and Bedfordshire CCG are consulting on the new Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and are asking local residents to have their say.

This Strategy underpins the work of the local Health and Wellbeing Board, which brings the NHS, public health, social care, children’s services, Healthwatch, and elected representatives together to consider the health and wellbeing needs of those living in Bedford Borough.

The Strategy has three priority areas. First to give children and young people the best start in life, setting the foundations for  good health and wellbeing through life; second to enable adults and older people to live well and remain independent; and third to promote strong, safe and healthy communities.

You can view and respond to the consultation online at www.bedford.gov.uk/hwb, or by email at consultingbedford@bedford.gov.uk .

There are also copies of the consultation document and paper response forms available at all Borough Libraries, the Customer Contact Centre and Borough Hall.

The consultation runs until Monday 26th March 2018.
